Navionics update

This may be a stupid question. Is the update card good for multiple outdated chips? I just purchased two premium chips that are outdated and wanting to update them. How does this work?

You use a single card you have to activate a single Update map card. The Update card becomes a Navionics+ map card after activation. Then you get a year of Freshest Data Updates.

You would not be updating any card you have, you will have two new map cards and your two old ones will still be usable as they are.
Your Premium cards would be registered so they cannot be used to activate any more Update cards.
