not sure how much difference they are but I put a Total Scan ducer on my 94 20DCX astro a while back. just screwed it right to the back of the transom on the bottom
dead center?
mine is mounted off to the side of center.
gives ya a reason to buy a jack plate and mount it off that...

yea I looked at trying to mount mine on the JP but it just wouldn't work.
looked at going the Transducer shield way also and it was almost $300 in brackets to do it that way also.
bigbob I'll take a pic of mine when I get home from work in the morning!! Its not a mega ducer but its a SI ducer... I have a 180 pro (not sure if its the super or not) but I'll send ya a pic of where I have mine installed...
