    2015 920 Phoenix with 250 Mercury

I was thinking about putting a 12 inch jack plate on my 920. I have a 10 inch now. I have two, 12 foot Talons and would like to gain a little more speed. I run about 72 with two people, 450 pounds) and full of gas. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Is your jack plate manual? If it is, what is your motor height?

I gained about 2 mph when I went from the z lock 10” manual to a 12” Bobs on a 2016 920. I was around 72 and now I’m usually around 74 with 2 people full fuel and 10’ poles. I was tired of busting my knuckles trying to adjust the manual plate to find that magical sweet spot everyone speaks of.
