    New wrinkle in spot lock--Ultrex.

Have had this new Ultrex long enough to use it in about every condition you should encounter. From dead calm to 30 + mph winds so I have a good base for how it has worked until this weekend. Plus I have been using the Terrovas with spot lock since they first came out...
.I Fished a cold and windy tournament this week and the spot lock was being way over active. by that even after the boat had (settled) on the spot and the wind had blown the back end around it acted like it could not make up it's mind where the spot was.. Instead of moving just enough to re-lock it would blast one way then another..
Is there something that has gotten out of adjustment ??-- were the satellites falling out of the sky ?? are the Russians pissed at us for slapping some ones hand and messing with GPS ? HELP !!

Probably depends on whether winds are gusting, steady, or changing directions but sounds like boat scale adjustment.

Do you have the heading sensor mounted and calibrated.

Have you recently reset something? As others have said, sounds like boat scale is off. Also may need to recalibrate the HS.

Have not reset anything that I know of.. Mater of fact I will have to look up how to even check.
When I set this whole thing up I followed the instructions and watched some videos.
Does sound like something has changed since it did much better for so many previous outings.

    Go to +2
And your heading sensor will flash a red light every 3 seconds when everything is on and paired up correctly
