After seeing what was brought to the scales this past weekend, in the worst conditions imaginable for this time of year (temps in the 30’s with 35-40 mph sustained winds), I’d say the fish are doin just fine in this lake. On a side note, the fishin sucked for me over there this weekend.
Yeah grand is fine... just because people can’t get them to bite we want to assume something is wrong with the lake? Nah... operator error.
I'm not going to let one weekend change my mind. It's like hunting in rut. I personally have never felt the fish population was the problem so it doesn't surprise me that one day out of four months they finally bit.
Going to check it out next week. We are going over for the Bass Elite tournament. Will fish 2-3 days.

Some nice fish caught but then again....40% of the field didn't weigh a fish.

But now all the doom and gloom and the sky is falling and having emergency meetings with wildlife and GRDA people have the grand lakers right they want them tournaments will be cut back
We didn't weigh...cuz no reason.
They wrecked em for four or five straight days. We did ok on Thurs and Sat, but didn't make the adjustments (That obviously most made) when it counted.
Grand is fine...
I bet the Elite deal will be a sight fishing whack fest...

I'm hearing we're supposed to get 2"+ of rain this weekend so that could make sight fishing difficult. It'll be interesting to see for sure.
2 inches here...wont matter. 2 inches in Kansas, diff story. My forecast isn't showing near 2 inches.
If the wind quits blowing and allows water to clear up, still think it will be at least partly sight fish.
