Just bought a used axiom 9 from a bbc member. I have an gen 1 lowrance 7 unit surface mounted now on my nitro, the structure scan doesn't work but the chart and 2d sonar works. (Bad lss1 module) should I just leave the unit flush mounted and put my new axiom on a ram mount beside the console? And still be able to use the lowrance 2d sonar and chart. It has a thru hull ducer that reads at speed as well. Just don't know the best way to do this. Or take the lowrance unit out all together and surface mount my axiom.
