    Wheel help

Lost entire tire and wheel yesterday morning on way to tourney. Didn't even know that it had happened until I met my partner and he saw that my right front was gone and my stainless fender was damaged. Apparently a bearing failed (bearing that was replaced last July) and entire hub came apart. All that said, luckily I have a matching spare to my other chrome wheels on trailer. I'm wondering if I can possibly find another matching one anywhere. Trailer is with a 2006 198 and I assume these were the original wheels. Anyone know of where I might find one?

You can try etrailers on line or google trailer wheels..that should be a 4 1/2 bolt pattern on the wheel...You may also beable to look at inside of wheel and maybe the manufacturers name may be there.

Looked on the back and didn't see anything that like like a manufacturers name. There is a 14 x 5.5 JJ stamp.

Sorry to hear that Dave. There must be something in the air because I almost lost one headed to 43 on Thursday evening. I never made it. I just pulled over and took the tire off and drove slowly back home on 3 wheels.

That does not appear to be a stock 2006 Champion trailer wheel. Check with Carol at C&O Marine (BBC Sponsor). She will most likely know! And might be able to help!

Wish I would have known. Had no idea till I met my partner and he said “damn, what happened to your tire!” I had walked around the boat twice (in the dark) and I hadn’t even noticed...lol.

I just bought a 2008 Champ boat and trailer Needed a matching spare wheel. I found one and bought it on kingofwheels.com.

    Good info, Jeff!

And, yes, Ed and grout are showing the wheels which match 2005-etc...
