    Atlas jack plate ?

So just curious as to where you guys run with a 6 inch atlas jack plate. New to me boat never had a jack plate before. Did my first run the other day and had jack plate at about 5. Seemed okay but I'm sure I could go up and faster. As a side note it's cold here and I hit 54 and almost got frostbite from the ride. Have a 250 merc on a ranger 520c. I still had more pedal to go but curious where you guys start from and end up at to get full speed.

when you have a hydrolic jackplate on your boat. it really depends what the boat itself prefers, you will have to experiment with it and find that sweet spot. I have a 10" atlas on my 2000 nitro 901 cdx 225 optimax and this is what i had to do.
