    Boat ignition

Hey guys, I need a new ignition switch for my procraft. I have an optimax so I don’t need to have the push to choke. Where can I get a replacement? Are the Sierra aftermarket ones ok?

If you post the serial number of your motor, you'll get an answer quicker.

It’s a ‘99 Opti. It’s in storage and we are getting pounded with snow up here in Wisconsin so won’t be seeing it anytime soon :(

I have replaced mine several times. Count the wires on the back and get one to match and you should be fine. The Mercury ignitions are probably the better quality pieces but the Sierra work too

If you have the motor title or registration, one or both would have the serial number.

^^^this. I'm not sure how a serial number would help anything in this situation.

I assumed he might want the OEM part. All other suggestions will work good.

Because it's a prerequisite to make a post in this section. It ensures the correct part for that particular range of serial numbers is quoted.
