I had the above Napa Battery group 31 in my Norris Craft with a 250xs on it & the Napa was a beast of a battery. It never failed me in 4 years & I bought another one. Price was under $200.00 for a fantastic battery. It's a commercial battery that meaning if it gets bounced around it will not hurt it.

I can't think of a reason not to use a commercial battery especially for the price. Really seems like they add a surcharge for, "Marine" to be slapped on the side. The commercial MCA/CCA beats a lot of starting batteries out there.

When I was running glass boats with dual gps units at the console it was my marine dealer that suggested a battery from NAPA for a tractor. They work great! I had to get bigger terminal rings to fit the tops that came on the batteries. If you’ve rode a tractor in a field all day you know how much of a beating those batteries can take!
