    Need help!

    I just re powered my 97 201 with an 07 250 HPDI. New bolt motor so I have to break it in. Problem is, my tack is sticking when it gets up to 3k rpms. I'm doing the 4K rpm break in now but was wondering what speed that would be with a 27p prop? I varied the speed from 30-38 mph on the 3k rpm portion. Thanks

    Just find a prop slip calculator, just use it in reverse. Then you can figure out what rpm is what speed.

    You spend all that money on a new motor. Why not buy a new tach??

    I would say your in the ball park with those speeds at 4000 rpm.
