    Which color blue waters ?

Gonna add a Bluewater trailer lighting kit . I plan on running them while towing .
Trying to decide if red or amber is preferred ? Boat is red . What do you say ?

To be legal while towing, you'd need amber on the front portion of trailer, red on the back portion ("clearance" markers).
Having any other color lit while towing may get you a ticket... to be safe, you could wire in a weatherproof switch near the winch to be able to turn them on/off independent of vehicle/trailer lights.

Other than that, bling color is up to you. What's YOUR favorite?

I've been debating this same decision. Kentucky police are generally pretty lax on these rules on a non commercial vehicles. Anything red technically has to face the rear, and amber can be used facing forward or to the side. I think I am going to go with red on my trailer and do an amber strip on either side in front of tire facing down to light the road in front of tire. I am going with the ultimate kit and some back up lights too I believe.

Here's "The Law" - with verbiage related to "parallel" and "perpendicular" when it comes to front/rear facing markers vs. side-markers (and intermediate markers).
LEOs will likely use their discretion on whether or not to ticket someone who runs anything other than what "The Law" says... so you makes your choices and takes your chances.
