Beautiful day Wednesday ahead of this
smallcraft warning winds that are in place Friday thru the weekend with SW gusts to 27 mph. That will be nasty. Picking morels, catching a few brim, and turkey season opens Saturday.

MD bay/Potomac bouys are deployed and running.

The one in Mallows Bay appears to be pretty accurate.

I was out on Wednesday and your right great day, the fish were also biting pretty good, mine came bunched up on wood, nice green grass in that fishes mouth.

What is up with these winds this Spring, small craft warnings seem to be the norm rather then the exception.

Got up to 65 water temp Friday when the tide ran all the way out after lunch. They were choking it all morning.
