So here is what I have going on.....1997 200hp EFI #0G451791 that is idling very poorly while out of gear and constantly stalling out while idling around in gear. I am Also having to pump primer bulb several times during the day. Here is a list of everything I have done to the motor recently trying to correct the problem. Any help or insight is appreciated.
- New fuel lines and bulb. (Tank to bulb & bulb to pulse pump)
- New BU8H Plugs
- New Filter
- Always try to run Dons Quicklean cocktail in my gas.
What I have Checked:
- Compression is all good. (Cold 115 - 118 )
- Air Temp Sensor
- Cleaned the small filter at the Fuel Pressure Reg.
- Verified that Electric Fuel Pump running.
What I have noticed about the motor:
- Motor seems to start and run better at the beginning of the day.
- Motor wants to bog\load-up when taking off.
- Motor runs well on Top End.
