gonna look for a used cat as soon as I sell my Ferrari and triton. What kind of prop selection is there for yamahas, what are you running. Really prefer a merc. but I'm trying to stay open minded despite all the problems I had with a ranger/ hpdi combination a while back on my Z21. It seems if it isn't a Yamaha prop( t1 , t2) there isn't much to choose. ....thanks in advance...jim
When I had a 250 SHO on a Puma FTD, I ran a 25 Fury and it performed very well.

There are a couple of wheels out of Precision Propeller by Yamaha, and you can run the T series which we find runs excelptionally well. The Fury series and other Mercury wheels are options. The Yamaha four stroke has proven to be an excellent engine also, if we can get one and if you can find one. There’s more coming on the horizon.
I run the Yammie T series prop on my 250 SHO and it performs really well on the Cougar.

2016 Puma/250 SHO turning 26 V Max. I can't drive well enough to hit the limiter, but can get 75 mph pretty easily.
I have turned my stock 26 T-2 to the limiter on my 2018 Eyra/SHO 250 and have seen 82+.

What hub is need to run Fury on the 2017 250 SHO. And how different are setups from a SHO prop (26p) to a Fury prop (25p)? Currently run the 26p SHO but need little more hole shot due to 4 batteries and twin poles so got the fury to do the job.
Any advice is greatlt appreciated. It's on a 2009 Cougar dual consoles
