Quicksilver Oil Change Kit 8M0081912

Just picked up an oil change kit for my 50 hp 4 stroke 8M0081912. It contains 3 quarts of sae 25w40 oil, but it does not state if this oil is full synthetic, a synthetic blend, or conventional oil. Can someone shed some light on what type of oil this is? I prefer synthetic oil in all my auto, lawn care, atv’s etc., but I’m sure this is fine (whatever it is). I would just like to be aware of what I’m using. Thanks

To my knowledge with what research I have done Mercury has two 25W40W oils for 4/stroke.
A conventional oil which some like to call Dinosaur oil and a synthetic blend ( SB). The SB is more expensive.
I assume your oil does not say SB so it should be Dino oil.
Mercury also has a 10W30W oil for 4 stroke.
Not much info but maybe it helps.
