It's the only one that does this, and I wipe it off every time I stop on a trip. Starting to get concerned.

Jack it up and look for play.
Whatever you do, do not disassemble anything until you give the manufacture a call.
It voids the warranty if you take anything apart without them giving you instructions.
ASK ME HOW I KNOW
Thanks!
Mine do that on my Triton trailer. I took pics and sent to Dexter. They said it was normal to see that due to the internal pressure generated while towing. Some will show it, others won't. So long as there isn't an excess of oil leaking out or water getting in.
Just dust sticking to oil residue. Nothing to worry about unless it starts slinging some serious grease. All that's is that cap is a spring, metal cap,o-ring and a plastic cap stamped vault. Cap will prob fall out before it ever really fails. Seal on the back of the wheel is what will get you but there pretty durable.

A big relief! Thanks for that info guys, I travel a lot.
Had the same problem. Sent pics to Vault and they sent me a kit to fix it. Really pretty simple.
