    High five?

    I have a 2007 TR20XHP 225 ProXS.
I normally run a 26 tempest and a 25 trophy in the summer and a 27 tempest in the cooler months.
If one were to obtain a high five for a little tube pulling summer fun. What pitch would I need to go to be able to maintain lower planning speed. I know it will be torqey and lose some top end but at that point I won't be caring about speed.

A 25" should do it. You could go 23" just for tubing. Stay with the odd pitches as they are big barrel props. Even pitch H5's are small tube.

I would get a Bravo1 instead. You could use it for tubing and fishing.

In a lower pitch? Will it hold plane longer than a 5 blade and longer than the trophy?

Because of the small tube, a Trophy has a lot of slip at low planing speeds (throttle feels spongy). High 5 or Bravo hook up much harder. And just for tubing, keep the full flare on a Bravo or High 5 as it helps stern lift.

Generally around 5850 without water in the wells. I don't run all out most of the time. Just bursts to keep the engine healthy.

Part 2 to the question. Will all high five props accept a fatshaft hub kit? Or shall I say the modular removeable or are some pressed in like the old ones?

The newer High5 props have the flo-torq hub with pvs holes. Older ones have the rubber pressed in hub that wont fit the fat shaft motors. I also think the vented Bravo1 style prop would be the best choice... Marks Razor4-XL as well.

    I would get a 26P Bravo1 XS 2015-2018 edition for summer time temperatures/humidity.

I love how people suggest a $500 prop to pull a tube around every now and then. Get you a $200 high 5 and go tubing.

I was thinking the same thing. Many times you can find them for $150 or less.

Its more about the DUAL purpose.....You can find a Bravo1 used, and if the OP bolted one on I bet he would use it for more than just tubing.
