what size ram

I dont know how big that graph is, but I had a Lowrance Elite 7 on a 1.5" and that was about it's limit, it moved in rough water.

I have an HDS 12 on a 2.25" ball that has only moved (and it only moved 1-2") twice in 2 years, both in VERY rough situations.

Short answer is the 1.5 works well if not in rough water, anything bigger than a 7" graph or if you occasionally see rough water, Id go with the 2.25

the 93 is not that heavy, personally I would think it would be just fine.

Agreed. I can shake my entire boat and trailer with my Ram mount and it won’t budge.

I got the 1.5 and it works great, That Garmin is light way lighter than my old HDS 7
