Kind of, I had it wrapped with flat black this winter. The gel underneath is yellow and red. I won a couple tournaments last year and had the the biggest tournament sack of the year last year and people started looking for me. You could see were I was fishing from a couple miles. Not anymore.

It has been a little tough since those 2 cold fronts came through. We had water back down in the 50s yesterday. We will have fish spawning well into May. They are way behind this year.

Same here too, the other day we didn't catch one off a bed till 1 pm took that long to get one to stay on a bed because of the cool water temps

Jocassee being a deep, clear mountain lake, has the same issues. Water doesnt stay warm. At Lake murray and Hartwell, there is already a herring spawn bite. Most of the fish are spawned out. Gonna be a few more good weeks on Jocassee tho. I plan to make a trip to lake Burton Ga next weekend. Havent been in a few years. Potential world record spots in that lake!

Found another. This one was right at 9lbs. Got the news last week the genetics came back smallie/spot hybrid aka meanmouth on the fish I posted earlier. Will be the state record.

My trip got changed to Lake Murray SC for this weekend. Campground was full at lake burton. Should be a good one tho. Topwater bite is beginning!
