2004 150 EFI fouling plugs while idling

My 2004 150 EFI (OT817589) runs great but if I idle around very long it starts fouling the plugs out, such as idling through a no wake zone. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks

Make sure the exhaust tuner hasn't fallen off, mine did the same thing.
Runs very rich at low RPM when it has come off.

Exhaust tuner is the exhaust chamber located in the midsection. It is bolted in below midsection and can only be seen by looking up into midsection by removing lower unit. Use a long screwdriver and push on it to see if it’s loose.

If it's loose you'll be able to hear it rattling around in the midsection itself sounds like two pieces of metal clanking together.

Maybe... and maybe not. Best to remove gearcase so that you can reach/look up in there and CONFIRM it's either properly secured, or loose.
