    Lower Unit Gear Lube

How important is it to fill up the lower unit to 100% full? Cuz I had a bottle of lube about 3/4 full but the lower unit didn't appear to be 100% full yet before I ran out. I'm sure it's close to full, but not 100% full. Think it's OK to run the motor as is, knowing it's close to full, but not quite full. Or do I need to buy another bottle to top it off completely full? In the past, I thought it normally takes 3/4 of a bottle. Mercury 115hp.

You need to fill the lower unit per Mercury's recommendation for your engine. Not worth the risk to do anything else.
