Got a boat that has recessed HDS-7 on bow going to add helix 10 mega si upfront hopefully sooner then later. Is it feasible to use the 7 for sonar off my ultrex then use 10 for SI DI or am I better off to try selling the 7 and just use the 10?

You would have crosstalk (interference) problems trying to operate both units at same time. The HB uses 83/200khz for 2D which is the same for the US2.
