210 is almost a foot wider at the front seat pedestal than a 596 or a 496. I like that wide area where I spend most of my time fishing. I hope Charger brings back the 223 or 221.

Lot's of old Chargers running around in East Texas. I believe they were big sellers down here in the early 90's. Still a lot of them around, but not many newer Chargers.

Me....always admired their boats, and knew they were close/similar to Champion long before they started making the 210 Elite.

There has never been a problem with the quality, but rather having a dealer within a few hundred miles. That's the problem, and always has been. We had a dealer here in southeast Texas long ago but they've been gone a long time.

Other than the running surface, a 596 would be within 6" of either. Now if they make a wide body 221 or 223, that might be a different story.

It won’t be a wide body, it will be the exact same as the old 223. That came straight from the horses mouth (Kelly or Kyle power, I don’t remember which one of the 2 it was that responded) when I asked them about it.

Owned a Champion, Basscat, Swift, and 2 Chargers and my next boat will be a Charger. I will test drive a 496, 596, or maybe a 797. I was looking forward to the Elite line of Chargers but for some reason I think I will stay with the Charger hull.

Both are a lot wider than a 596 up at the front seat pedestal and forward. 596 and 496 are very narrow up front. And the 210 is less than 6 inches longer than the 496 and Charger still made it. Just a wider boat up front. I would not get any of the old school non Elite Chargers.

My next boat will likely be either a Phoenix or Falcon. Neither one have dealers nearby, so I won't get any experience with either of them unfortunately.

    198. They have already copied/splashed the 210. Indications are the 198 will be out in a few weeks.

I believe that my favorite boat out there is the Charger 496. http://www.chargerboats.com/boat/bas...-24c06903-c1dc I also love the Bass Cat Cougar as well.

Buddy has a 19ft. Bass cat (don't remember model) and it gets on plane fast, but way to narrow. My champion 188 has a lot more deck room and a lot less trip hazards.

Money were no object it would be between a Basscat Lynx (pending driving and fishing out of one) and a Ranger 520L. Both loaded with everything you can buy for one. I'll probably get banned for this but I HATE the way my champion fishes compared to a wide body boat. Running nothing compares to it. But last couple years my average day of fishing I don't even need 5 gallons of gas in the boat for the lakes I fish. Even when I go to Rayburn i normally only use 10 gallons.

That 188 definitely has a lot of deck room for a boat that size.
