Was very windy and soupy. Water was 49-50. Only caught 2 bass but also had 2 surprises. about a 15lb bluecat on a 10" worm and a 15 1/2 inch Citation crappie weighing 2.07lbs. Would share a pic if I could upload it? Also, where is this "grass" I hear so much about?

Grass is there have to look. I did my idling than fishing on Tuesday. I'd find a small patch and fish. I caught 8 in 3 hours. All in pairs.
Steve, I saw some patchy grass in Belmont but it was very sparse. I ran across to Mattowoman against my better judgement and paid the price on the ride back. Was sparse there too although I only looked around the community pad field across from thoroghfare. My goal was to do some scouting yesterday but it was way too rough.

Lots of pre-emergent grass around with fish stuffed in it. It's not going to be visible on the surface for quite a while yet with this water temp and repeated cold fronts. I hope it stays like this awhile longer!
