How I mounted the mega side imaging

For some pointers out there, I got a free piece of 1/8" aluminum, 15 1/2" x 9" and drilled and tapped some holes in the bottom of my slidemaster on my Nitro Z21. Plate was free, but price may vary from a fab shop. Used the trolling motor adapter for the mega transducer and mounted to my home made hole shot plate. Pics coming

did you check the angle of the transducer when in the water? a wedge is usually needed on a hole shot plate

This. You'll need to do something to level the ducer with how the boat sits in the water

I plan on doing that when I take it to the lake this weekend. Just had to get it mounted. It may read fine like it is. If not then I'll have to make some wedges out of plastic
