I’m down here on spring break and have been seeing a ton of a very light colored fish spawning. Seen them all over the banks at the stick marsh. They kind of have a oscar shape but every one i see looks white. Tilapia maybe? Anyone knows i would appreciate the info. My boy has been looking at them and asked to catch them but i have no idea what they are.

If they are lighter color as you describe, they are 3 finned goat eaters, they have an extra joint in their lower jaw that allows them to use their 4 in teeth that have venom. Imported from deep within the amazon. Bad news...stay away. If they are really lighter colored fish those are the tilapias.
