    2000 200 efi charging issues

    I have a 2000 model 200efi, been having charging issues both voltage regulators were bad one shorted to ground the other had bad diodes replaced them wth merc parts and put a new battery in but still doesn’t charge over 11 volts ohmed windings on stator they read .3 ohms specs from manual ar between .18-.45 ohms but still suspect the stator is bad going to run it on muffs monday and check stator output but wanted to see if anyone hs any other suggestions of things to check.

    failed regs can often times take out stator also,does happen been there seen that
    .................................................. ...the scariest thing in life is the unknown ...................................

    If you’re measuring 11V, your battery is dead, dead, dead, regardless of what your charging system is doing.
    If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
    nothing else matters.​
