Are you asking about the transducer lead falling out - just installed a new unit on the bow and found the transducer lead didnt have the screw thread thing attached - found it in a bag, in 2 pieces, with a gromet to stop water intrusion - you can screw that on reasonably tight, tight enough to stop it falling out.
No idea why Garmin didnt just put one on the lead in the first place.
