Caught probably 20 last sunday and had two over 4lbs and a couple 3's in the Shutes Branch area
Try and go one time at night while your up here, you'll be surprised what size fish eat in Drakes Creek from 9pm-3am in 8'-15' of water in the creek channel bends pockets from April- 2nd week of May

I think it would be hard to get him out that time of night. He is more of a 8am to 1pm guy.

Yeah this sucks for us saps that work mon-fri since the last 3 or 4 weekends have been monsoons or sub-zero cold fronts. I’m tired of sitting 20 floors up in Nashville looking out at days I can’t get back and seeing a weather report for crap on the weekend.

Well we went and got blown off the lake till the rain came then got soaked. Only 2 fish. Looked like they dropped the lake 1.5 feet or so for the rain.

1.)Buffalo are in the jumps .
2.)Rock fish are sunning on the rip rap at the dam trying to dry out due to all this rain .
3.) Skip Jack are are dieing off due to lack of oxygen caused by to many condoms wrapped around their mouths down at the dam by Old Hickory Beach access .
4.) There were 3 blue gil caught have sex w one crappie in Drakes Creek - charge' s have yet to be filed by Hendersonville Police Department on what to call it possibly 3rd degree Fish sest.
5.) Carp are now hitting DD22's due to loss of doe balls in middle TN .
6.) Sauger or Saugie are doing swim bye's w 12' worms loaded w buck shot to anyone caught eating a cheeseburger from Flippers in the parking lot .
7.) The Talipia all have move to Station Camp Creek waiting on their loans to go though on their new houses being built in Fairview Plantation . Word is they are waiting on their realator and her partner to get out of jail to approve all the loans.
8.) All the largemouth bass have packed up and headed to Percy Priest due to the high quality of crawfish being dragged around the lake on 6-8lb line and cleaner water and not having to deal w their other species of friends at OH Lake.
9.) Smallmouth/Brownies are all swimming on the surface along the bank from Avondale to OH Boat Dock w protester signs reading - "Take us back to Center Hill "
In conclusion " Go have fun and enjoy your day at OH LAKE , but please don't forget your chartreuse and purple dynamite to catch anything that is left in the lake .
Stumps , brush piles weed beds up river in 2-4 ' ought to work .

I fished out there today from 6a.m. til 3p.m., only caught 2 keeper largemouth and 2 dinks the whole damn day
