    Replace battery clamps with adapter plug

    I have an ice chest with an aerator connected to one of the batteries I use for a live well. I’d like to replace the clamps with a cigarette lighter adapter plug for an easier connection in the boat. Can I just cut off the clamps and replace them with an adapter like this one? https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...480/22070145-P
