I would think that boat has a little more in it, but not alot with a 225.
PLUS, two powerpoles are a little heavier than normal. What kind of batteries/load/gas did you have in it for that run?

Nice looking rig man. Sounds like it's running pretty good with the load and setup you have. If it comes out of the hole good I'd leave it alone.

If you really feel the need give it a .25 (1/4) or .125 (1/8) inch raise on the jackplate and see what the numbers do but try to do all the runs on the same visit to the lake. Conditions change a lot from day to day thanks to mother nature.

    Sh*tcan the Raker for a 27 Tempest and you'll gain a lot.....across the board.

That boat is rigged to the gills, I am jealous!! Nice set up!
I think there is more w/ the HO even w/ dual console, and heavy accessories....not a lot though. I am single console, no power poles, but other than that similar (I am Yammie) and I do 70 loaded as well...I want more too.

Good looking boat Your close with the speed I've got a 225 optimax 26 tempest plus Half tank of fuel (52 gallon tank) all my gear, 4 - 27 series batteries Mine will run 72 - 74 mph @ 5700 rpm's I think it was already mentioned start raising the motor an 1/4 - 1/2 inch up at a time I marked each move with a sharpie on the inside of the jack plate you'll know when its starting to get to high. I see all the new electronics ,sweet what's in the front for a depth finder?

thx.. there is a hds 5 insight in the front....

I will to try bump the motor up in 1/4" increments...

I also feel like I need a little lift in the bow

is this how your boat should be riding? I dont feel like my bow is this high in the air....

Where did you find those fenders? Did the fender board match exactly? I'm looking for a set and I found some from C&O. My fenders are 65"L x 12"H x 9W" tapers.

Make sure you maintain water pressure as you raise,to me 70 is a respectable number with dual power poles and loaded
Airing a boat does not always add speed some boats run faster not as high a trim, its more for looks and photo shoots, rear rooster tail should be but motor high

Guys this post is over four years old, and looking at users profile he has not posted here since 2011. The fenders on that trailer are probably installed at the factory being that they were an option back then. Stratos will sell you stainless fenders for your trailer, but you'll dig deep into your wallet to pay for them.
