I just bought a Z21 with 300XS Racing engine. Got 45 minutes of varying 4000 to 5400 rpm break in time on it so far. At 5400 rpm with motor tucked all the way down it got up to 65 GPS. Can't wait to complete the break-in and start to trim it out.

Supposedly that’s the prop they tested for the speed specs for the 300 Verado and XS. 24 p.

Got through hour #2 on break in on my Z21 with the 300XS. It gobbles oil during break in. About 1 gallon per hour. After the last hour I trimmed it up for a while and it got up to 74 mph GPS at about 5700 rpms. Motor will not go higher in rpms. I guess because its still in break in mode. Really liking the Z21. No sign of any chine walk yet, just goes straight down the lake. I've got a Bravo 1 XS 27p 4 blade I want to try on it after the break in. But the Fury 24p 3 blade is performing very well.

I've noticed the Fury holds a stabler ride then the tempest does so far. Would like to get some more seat time in it this weekend.
