2 hrs.? Percy Priest, Center Hill, Dale Hollow, Pickwick/Wilson/Wheeler, Guntersville, Old Hickory, Kentucky Lake.
You just need to find a guide.

Wherever you fish, I'd be fishing at night at that time of year. Me personally, I'd bypass the lakes and head for the Cumberland river. Cooler water and can find lm, sm and stripers.

I live in Nashville and fish Percy Priest a ton. We have a lakehouse in Murray, KY on blood river and grew up there. its 2 hours door to door. 2 hours puts a TON of lakes into play, including all of the TN river lakes. I've never really fished pickwick and only been on wheeler once. So I vote, Guntersville, Ky Lake (new johnsonville), Chickamauga, and the grass on the Nickajack that time of year should be awesome. I've also had huge days on Wilson Lake in AL, very small lake but we vacationed there every summer for many years.
All depends on what you want? Are you after 1 big fish or catching 100 in a day. Do you want to lob huge swimbaits or do you want to fish topwater around grass and watch them explode.

I am looking for a southern bass fishing experience. I get a ton of deep, clear water fishing here in Washington. Time of year will dictate what we do, but I am in it for the experience, not necessarily to whack a bunch of fish. And by deep, I mean 20+ feet
Didn't work out schedule wise with dave Stewart, so we rented a house on guntersville on mill creek. Any boat rental ideas?
