I'm running a 03 stratos 200 pro xl with a Evinrude 200hp. 26p Raker 3.75 PTP running 5300rpm at about 61mph 20psi on the water pressure. What would you all all recommend raising my plate to? Has the lightning lower unit.

I'm running a 03 stratos 200 pro xl with a Evinrude 200hp. 26p Raker 3.75 PTP running 5300rpm at about 61mph 20psi on the water pressure. What would you all all recommend raising my plate to? Has the lightning lower unit.
Don't know what the PTP should be, but raise it a 1/4 inch at a time until you see the water pressure start to drop or the steering gets hard to turn one way while you are at speed.
What's the max rpm's on the motor 6000? If it is get a 24" raker and get your rpm's up and find some speed.
Is the 200 an HO?
I run a Javelin R20 which is the same hull as you have. I have an 08 200HO and can spin a 26 Trophy to more than 5900 and go 72+. If you have an HO then something is real wrong with your setup or your motor. Is the Raker new or at least true?
FYI, I have never liked Rakers or Renegades on my boat. Tempest is good but the Trophy is best all around with great speed to boot. These hulls like a ton of lift which those props give especially the Trophy because of the bow and Aft lift. Another thing these hulls like is weight in the azz. Do you have a Jack plate? If not get a 6 or 8" they help a ton. You need to be around 3-1/4 to 3-1/2 PTP

Yes have a 8 in plate. I will raise the motor more and run it. Boat is running flat. Ive run two different 26 Rakers same result. Sitting 3.75in below pad now.
Rakers are not great great props imo. A tempest will get you the lift as well as the Trophy. Use the Michigan Wheel #200 hub kit as it's much better than the Merc hub kit.
