Does anyone know where to buy some locally in the Twin Cities/West Metro?

I'll go check it out and see if they have the size I need and if they want to charge an arm and a leg or not

I bought black starboard from Amazon for my boat. Cheap and fast to get. I couldn't find anywhere local that carries starboard!

I used Stern Saver and it worked really well. Get it from TW.

Check out plastic supply places. Starboard = HDPE Can be found in thicknesses up to (and probably over) 1 inch.

It has many different applications. It's marine grade plastic that doesn't get affected by UV exposure or cold/warm, etc

    I'm in the same shoes...

mn bowhunter, can you tell us what you used it for, and what other possible applications might be? I'm always looking for little projects.

It's most commonly used to mount transducers to. Google search starboard transducer install. In my case I had to use a long piece the same shape as my trolling motor base as a shim, as I went from a 45" Fortrex to a 52" Ultrex and with a longer base had a fiberglass lip on the bow shroud the mount had to clear. If you look closely you can see the piece under the trolling motor.

Or moisture - so no rot. Perfect for most non-structural boat applications!
It is also very easy to work with, using simple hand tools, or power tools.
Here's a rod box rack I made from black 5/8" starboard material, without a CNC. Just a hole saw, band saw, and 1/4 round bit on a router.
