What do you think, air in the lines still?

I have a pair of brand new 8' blades that I just got out on the water for the first time this weekend. I've purged the lines in the garage, and then I did the deep water purge several times while out on the water Saturday. My port anchor still is coming up way slower than my starboard anchor, which is running flawlessly. It typically won't even close all the way when I double tap up, and I'll have to hit it again to get it to close completely.

Do you think there is just still some stubborn air in that up line?

Other than that everything is working great. The anchors hold in the down position and deploy at the exact same speed. I am only having trouble with retracting that port anchor.

Im not thinking air still, I would suggest calling Powerpole at 813-689-9932 ext 2042 they can assist you on running a diagnostic thru the app via bluetooth and check the pressure of the pump on the pole you are having trouble with. I would start there.

Do I need to have the boat somewhere that the poles can deploy for this or do I not need to run them?

Mine did the same thing, I ran the system check and sent to Powerpole. It ended up being a bad pump, Powerpole sent me one overnight and got me fixed up. Thanks Powerpole

Yup they've got one in the mail on its way to me now I saw a lot of comments on threads about their customer service and that's one of the reasons I decided to go power-pole.

So how do I go about taking the hoses off the current pump without making a mess?

Lower the Power Pole until about 1" from garage floor. Push the pole closed. Watch fingers for pinch points.

Swapped the pump out tonight. I can tell that was the problem because the new one is already working better and I haven't even done the deep water purge yet. Thanks for the advice everyone and thanks power-pole, issue fixed.
