    Jack Plate Sizes?

I noticed a while back the the JP's are shorter set back than most other Brands.
Curious as to why they're not running 10" hydro on 205's and 12" on 215's.
    Anyone running a 10" - 12" Hydro JP?
Falcon told me that the performance is better with the shorter JP's. Sounds like the larger setbacks haven't been tried much.

I'm seriously considering a 205, but would think a 10" hydro JP would be on my list, unless I can be convinced otherwise.

I would trust Falcon to know what works best on their boats. Some hull designs just don't need a long setback jackplate.

I think most are running 10’s.

Got an 8'' manual on my current one. ORdered a 4'' hydraulic on my new one. Depends on the motor a bit. I'm running a G2 and they have an extra 2-3'' built in the mounting bracket. Therefore, they don't need as much setback.
