    Average size fish you catch?

Day in, say out no matter the lake you fish what is average size fish you catch. I see people complaining about the size of fish on MLF show but I get it's closer to what most of us catch on average. 1 1/2-2lbs is normal. I catch some big ones too but that is average.

For the most part I only fish for smallies. I would say avg is 3lbs. between the two lakes I fish.

Depends. I would say my average is one to two pounds. Some places that goes way up and some places I struggle for keepers.

Depends on lake and time of year. Right now 2 1/2-3 lbs. In a week or two it'll start going way down when the bucks move up in big numbers.

With no witnesses in the boat I'd say a 5-6 lb. average wouldn't be an exaggeration. With a witness in the boat the average would drop to around 1.5-2 lbs.

Average fish is probably 1.5 to 2lbs. Keeper size limit is 14" which is essentially 1.5 lbs here.

More fish here weigh less then a pound. But on a good day 1.5 to 3.00 and a occasional 3 to 4 lb fish thrown in.

If you average 21lbs per event here you will have a pile of AOY and 1st place trophies and checks. That's impressive.

Id say on my local lakes a surprisingly high percentage of fish I catch are from 11 to 14 inches.

Average that I catch (in Ohio) is probably 1 1/4 pounds. Average that I weigh in is about 2 pounds, 6 ounces.

I don’t think we had under 23 last year.
