So how does this affect everyone especially the bass fisherman here with more and more areas being privatized.

Bought lifetime licenses for me, my wife and son 20 years ago.
+1 for lifetime
What I mean is with less access and having to pay more now for a license does it feel like another kick in the nuts for fisherman?
I know what you meant. The price increase doesn't affect me. I thought I read somewhere that license sales have been declining. Guess wildlife and fisheries need the money.
They are going from $ 9.50 to $ 13.50,,,,,,Don't see where that is a big deal ,, If four bucks is going to stop you from fishing then you dont need to go in the first place
I got in when the over 60 rule came out. I'd have no problem paying more, if I thought the dollars I spent for more enforcement, better management at landing on weekends and etc. If I recall correctly, there was some type of large theft at the agency recently, and nobody got charged???BF
Hell about right
When is the last time licenses went up? There was talk about it 18 years ago when I bought my lifetime, but don't remember if it went up then or not.
Is it going up for seniors like me or retired military? It was $5.00.

Today's local newspaper says they are closing New Iberia and Opelousas offices. It seems they are doubling the fees and cutting the services.
Didn't they just add around 7 bucks to the license around 3 years ago...for red snapper studies???
