    03 FIXER UPPER

New to the board. Thanks for having me.

Just acquired an '03 20xd with an '11 225xs/torquemstr. Got it for a steal. Hull and Gel are in excellent shape, as is the motor. New TM and batteries. New electronics. Ends there...LOL. No big deal, like I said, got it to fix up and at the price.... I have a fistful of peso's left to get busy. First CARPET, RECESSED FOOT PEDAL, WINDSHEILD, BACKSPLASH/FRONT VISOR, OVAL RED BEZEL AND LED FOR THE SIDE OF THE CONSOLE AND NEW RED ANODIZED SWITCH PANELS FOR BOW AND CONSOLE WITH NEW LIT TOGGLE SWITCHES.

Boat is white with rainbow gunmetal bullet strip red logo and rub rope and pin stripe. White top cap with same scheme as hull. Gunmetal interior, anodized red bezels.

I've read about a few of these on here but would Love any advice on where to get and best products to get. I'm uber excited to finally get back in one and especially a great opportunity to bring one back to life. Help me out ,my fellow gangsters, I'd love to make her board worthy with you. Thanks for all the great posts. They've kept the dream alive for me through some rough stuff that thank God is now behind. Any help/advice is Highly appreciated and valued.

I’m confused also. If boat and motor are in excellent shape, sounds to me like your just tricking it out now.

Yes. Everything kinda needs some tweaking. I just don't know where to start. Carpet is a must as it is worn to the decking in spots. Probably need new lids on the rear deck. It doesn't have any windshields or splash guards or anything. I want to put some nice tweaks and perks into it while I'm fixing the primary integrity type stuff. I'd like to find some kind of custom rod system for the middle and port lockers. But yes, I want to tweak it out while I'm in the process of doing those other things. I'd like to get a recessed TM tray too. I don't know where the best place to find those tweaks is. Thanks for responding and sorry for the confusion. Have a swing tongue on the way. Hope I can get that put on some how in the next week or so. Hope it comes with instructions...LOL.

Depends on how much coverage you want or need, I went with 8" so I could put a HDS9 under the windshield
