    Monroe

Has anyone been out there lately? I wondered what shape its in and what the water temps are.

I was there yesterday Greg. Just went with a friend to run his boat after we picked it up from chucks. We didn't fish, just spent a lot of time cruising. Took a bunch of pics but can't get them to load for some reason. Cutright ramp is just barely out of the water but for some reason the high water ramp was still closed . Main lakes a muddy, visibility is zero feet. It should be on fire within another week with the fish in the woods.

I wish they would lower the level over winter so come this time of year it doesn't get high and stay there all summer. The weeds were doing well, just hope it drops so they don't die off. I hate fishing the forest.

    Thanks Guys

I see its at 8.5 today and probably more tomorrow. Once it stabilizes it will be on fire.
We have a club tomorrow and its gonna suck.

The ramps weren't designed for it to be a draw down lake.....no one could launch in the winter if they did drop it.
I would say Monroe being on 'fire" is relative :) .....anything over 5-6 ft high makes it difficult to fish a lot of the flooded stuff IMO.

If I could figure out how to not fish it and not hurt my guarantee co, I would skip it in a heartbeat.
