    Deep crank reel???? Low ratio

Love, love, love my old school 4.7:1 ratio Fritts BPS Crankin reel but it’s getting a little long in the tooth and impossible to find anymore. Any 4.7:1 ratio recommendations?

See if you can find an older Diawa Zillion Crankin reel. I think mine is 4.7 or 4.9. Something like that. Great reel.

The Revo Winch @ 5:1 may be an option for you.

Diawa makes a 4:9 reel for about $80. I have two of them and haven't had any issues in the two years I've used them. I don't recall the model but check the website.

Lews has a bunch of reel model options with the 5.1 ratio. I personally use the BB1 with the 5.1 for deep cranking.

x2 on the Zillion Crazy Cranker. Great reel! A Shimano Curado 200E7 will also work well!

I use the BB1 and the Abu Garcia Orra Winch, both of them are awesome. I prefer the BB1 over the Winch though.

The new Daiwa Tatula 150 looks like it would be a good one.

Someone already hit on the head with the Daiwa Crazy Cranker.. Especially if you can find a few of the original JDM models..

Revo Winch is the cat's meow for deep cranking reels. If $199 for the Winch is on the high side of your budget, take a look at the Revo X at $99. The X is available in a 5 to 1 gear ratio and is an incredible reel for the money.

Lew's now only makes one 5 ratio reel the Super Duty, but you can find used ones. Also Jimmy Boss rod and reel service could rebuild your reel.
