Phoenix Cover modification

There wasn't much material that had to be sewn in near the rub rail to make it fit -just a band roughly 3-4 inches high and about 4 feet long which makes it fit just like a stock cover would. Everything under the TM and 360 is doubled material and triple felt reinforced. The graph pocket is about all you can do in that spot and it seems to do a good job taking the stress off the cover and graph. It all looked great trailering home at 75. I'll keep an eye on things and see how it performs. If there are any areas that I feel need adjustment I'll update and post pics of the corrections.

Glad you got it done, post pics if you get a chance. Maybe if enough of us do then phoenix would find someone near the factory to modify them if a person order their boat totally equipped.

I towed mine to a local lake 45 minutes away, seemed strange not to have to put the cover on or take it off... 5 weeks of being out of town putting it on and off daily will do that to ya

Just to follow up on this now that I have a little over 10 hours of high speed towing with this modified cover all is working great. Fit around the trolling motor and graph is perfect and the entire cover stays taught even at 75mph. Very happy with how this came out.
