Heading to Grand in about two weeks, was hoping someone might give me a little insight on a few colors and creeks that are good this time of year. We be staying in Ketchum, so anything fairly close to that area, thanks in advance.

after all this rain Mud to Muddy
The fishing should be getting better but it is a toss up right now until you know what the water color will be but any creeks or cuts can be just as good as the next this time of year.
Ketchum cove is always good this time of year, so you wont have to go far.
Keep heading south and fish somewhere else.
Pick any creek on the north side, throw a texas rigged something on the bank, drag it into the water and if you don't get bit in the first 2 feet try again.
Bait color dependent on water... but you'll get bit on green pumpkin.

at what depth do you guys have the best luck this time of year?
We've been doing pretty good at 1-3' in the morning and then moving out to 5' later in the day. Catching lots of females loaded up with eggs. Soft plastics up shallow and med cranks further out.

Snoopy Rod, when are you planning on being here?
Ya...we will see. Wonder what the pundits gonna say when ODWCs shock data says the lake is in great shape. I've already talked w a ODWC biologist, and that is the case. The latest numbers will be released shortly. No possible way GRDA is going to do any stocking...none...zero...
I'll sit and watch the monkeys run the circus....should be fun...
Really think all of the folks who dislike Grand at the moment...should just walk out. Sounds like the best solution to me....

Elites practice starts the 24th.
I guess you and I have different expectation of Grand of you feel like it produced in that high school tournament. And I don't mean that to sound condescending so please don't take it that way but they had 140 teams and only 9 weighed in limits. I've said it and I will keep saying it, they're are still big fish in the lake but just to go out and catch fish is not anywhere near as easy as it used to be and it's getting harder every year. If you look at the results from the Costa I'm pretty sure that no one caught a limit all three days and it only took 14 pounds to get a check. There were a lot of 2 fish for 7 pounds or 3 fish for 11 pounds weighed in so there are still big fish its just harder to catch the numbers that it had been producing.
