Flushing eng

Are you guys using the Yamaha eng muff device to warm up your eng. prior the changing oil? if you run eng in tank can the prop be removed, I have seen on the web that some shops use a test wheel, what is this test wheel?

A test wheel is a special prop specific to engine &HP. It allows you to put a load on a motor without blowing all the water out of a test tank, I run my 225 Yam in a 100 gal stock tank when i run it at home before my 1st trip of the year, it is a hpdi nose cone water intake gear case, if you put it in gear with the prop on it will push the water out of the tank i can test the shift switch with the prop off, mtr trimmed all the way down, tank all the way full with hose running
