    Holeshot help

I have a 17 ft Triton Explorer with a 90 Mercury. I have installed 2 talons and would like to get the holeshot back. Would a jackplate or a foil do the trick. I dont want to drop down a pitch in prop, as I do not have much top end speed now. Thanks in advance.

Speed is weight & Horsepower. You've added a lot of weight and no horsepower.
Your motor needs to run at the top part of it's rpm range to perform and live it's longest, you need to adjust your prop to match that, if you lose some speed, that's the price of adding weight.
