    Prop question

    I have a 2012 Legend Alpha 199SCX W/ Merc 225. What prop do you guys suggest for better top end?

    I can get 68-70 out of a 25 fury 3 blade .74 out of a 26 tempest 3 blade but lose the hole shot.

    same boat. running a 25p fury gives best overall performance so far (69-70 loaded). Went to a croxton 24p fury - amazing holeshot and low-speed handling/bow lift (awesome in rough water) but no top end (60-62mph). Will be trying a few 4 blade options here soon.
    i'm looking for a bit more on the top end with some bow control on low end for dealing with the rough stuff.

    Weird, my 25 Fury was actually faster than my 26 Tempest and performed Slightly better all the way around. I'm thinking that all props aren't made equal.
