    ‘06 519VX Interior Restoration Phase V

Back from my rug guy. I chose not to install myself. I’m a retired carpenter and just wasn’t comfortable with that install.

Custom recessed TM tub with drain.

Ultrex reinstalled. Second year with it total game changer!

Do you think it weakens the deck any by cutting into middle compartment to install recessed tray? Been wanting to do this to my 519

No. My dealer in 06 installed the first tray. They had to cut part of the front compartment header out also. Plenty of structural integrity up in that area to allow for the tub. I have installed a new custom tub to accommodate the Ultrex pedal. All good two years on the new tub. Highly recommend the recessed tub less fatigue and functional. Had a guy in AL build the tub to my specs. PM if you need his info.

Did you replace the fake wood panels at the front and by the throttle? If so, where did you get it. I have an 03 and need to replace mine as soon as possible. And Ranger said they don’t have access to these pieces anymore.

I didn’t need to replace those panels. They are in great shape my boat. Ranger as you said, cannot get them anymore. There are guys who are making them themselves. There is a site sponsor that makes custom panels. Contact Precision Sonar and talk to Randy. Post your questions on the restoration thread and Ranger thread. Lots of guys have pics of there fixes. Hope this will help you.

The plywood was a temporary measure to protect the gas tanks. I was waiting on my seats from upholstery. All upgrades completed, and she’s back on the water.
