Pretty cool rig. I've been thinking about getting a 16 foot alumacraft tunnel hull with the center console sponsons and a 9.9 on the back for running the fox river and all the restricted lakes around here. Figure it be something to play with till I buy another big boat.

I would love to hear prop suggestions! Since it has the command thrust gear box, I have a ton of options for SS props! I’m going to keep the stock aluminum one around for duck season.

I like it. One of hunting buddies has a 23’ Wareagle center console with a 200 Johnson on it. It is Mossy Oak break up camo including the motor. Big trolling motor and hard wired Go-Lite. It has been a great all around boat.

I really want to build a rig like this for both hunting and fishing, the only thing that scares me is the lack of storage for my obsession with tackle haha

I'm in the same "boat" as you. Want to buy a bass boat but I hunt alot to in the fall. 2 boats is out of the question and I'm worried about ruining carpets with mud. This is a cool rig but not sure about the CC. I have been thinking about using camo netting and layout blinds across the front and rear deck of whatever boat I choose. Tackle storage is also an issue for the summer. The Alumacraft 2072 AW SC looks like good but a read alot about leaks on various places.

I'm assuming the Power Poles were not an issue with Lund warranty? Are you running a jack plate also with the bracket for the poles? How do you plan on using this for hunting? Just to get to the spot or hunting from it also? I'm very interested on how this works out.

theres nothing like building your boat from scratch exactly how you want it. i highly doubt i ever buy a production hull again

Lund told me that as long as a problem doesn't happen directly related to the poles, my warranty is still valid. I got a special sandwich plate that will also allow my Mercury warranty to remain valid. They require a specific plate. I can throw decoys in this boat, get to my spot, and either park it in the marsh on the bank, put the poles down and build a blind for it or just stash it in the marsh poles down and hunt in the flooded vegetation, hell i have a spot that all the ducks where landing in the middle of the pond last season, If I make a blind for it, ill hit spotlock and hunt out of it lol
